After School Cookery Clubs
We can set up a regular afterschool cookery club within your school where we provide an hour of tuition for up to 12 children in each session. Available for 5 to 11 year olds, for a whole term or just half, our lessons include a variety of sweet and savoury recipes which the children get to take home along with a recipe card to make again. All ingredients, packaging and equipment are included.
We don’t need a kitchen to run, in fact, our clubs are best run in a classroom or school hall. Our teachers will leave the room exactly as they found it, ready for teaching the next day. Workshops in school
Smart Raspberry can also provide classes that fit into the teaching curriculum or around a specific topic. This could be a themed workshop for a year group or for the whole school to get involved in; recipes and activities are designed to enrich topics requested by your school to meet your individual needs. We specialise in practical cookery sessions but we can also include topics such as; food hygiene, The Eatwell Plate, sugar, where food comes from, seasonality, sustainability and food labelling.
