These classes offer your child a home based opportunity to engage and be inspired in cooking nutritious gluten free food from scratch alongside other young people. These classes are ideal for all young people that have been diagnosed with Coeliac disease which is an autoimmune disease where you have to follow a strict gluten free diet. The classes are available for children aged 5-17 years old. These online classes are led by Alicia, Smart Raspberry founder who has completed Gluten Free Catering training with Coeliac UK, she also cooks gluten free at home for her daughter who has to follow a strict gluten free diet.

How it works:

Our Online Cookery Classes take place monthly on Sunday afternoons from 16:30 to 18:15. During these sessions, we’ll cook together and create delicious gluten-free recipes—typically a main course and a dessert—that are perfect for family meals. Your child will learn how to incorporate gluten-free substitutions, boosting their confidence in the kitchen.

Key Features:

  • Cooking at home eliminates concerns about cross-contamination.
  • Siblings and other family members can join the same class at no extra cost.
  • Accessible on computers, tablets, or phones.
  • Recipe sheets will be emailed in advance, and we accommodate vegetarian and other dietary preferences.
  • Parents must supervise their children in the kitchen at all times.
  • 10% of online coeliac classes will be donated to Coeliac UK via Work for Good
