Are you looking for a fun and educational activity for your child during the holidays? Look no further! Our holiday workshops are designed to inspire young cooks while having fun in the kitchen.

  • Creating Delicious Recipes

From baking cookies to whipping up savoury dishes, your young cooks will learn a variety of recipes suitable for their age and skill level.

  • Having Fun

At Smart Raspberry we believe that making our lessons fun allows children the opportunity to unleash their creativity and builds self-esteem and confidence

  • Providing Expert Guidance

Our Smart Raspberry cookery teachers provide step-by-step guidance, ensuring your child gains valuable cooking skills in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Whether your child already knows their way around the kitchen or is a complete novice, our cookery workshops provide children with a fun cookery experience during the school holidays.  Not only teaching them a wide range of savoury and sweet dishes but giving them the confidence and skills needed to produce their own delicious creations. Workshops are available for children aged 5-15 years old, this does vary by location and are often split into age groups.  At Smart Raspberry we believe in hands-on learning so everyone rolls up their sleeves, puts on their aprons, and gets stuck into cooking.

What Can Your Child Expect on the Day?

Guided by our friendly and experienced Smart Raspberry cookery teachers, children will gain valuable skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen safety and of course presenting their dishes nicely. Our workshops are often themed recipes from a particular country, season, festival or occasion and are age appropriate. We have regular breaks throughout the day and offer additional activities such as colouring in, foodie quizzes and games especially for the younger age groups. At the end of the day, everyone can take their creations home to impress friends and family with their new found skills.

What’s Included?

  • 3 Recipes prepared and cooked per day with printed recipe sheets to take home
  • All ingredients including any dietary substitutions e.g. gluten or dairy free
  • Aprons to borrow
  • Packaging to take home creations

Does my child need to bring anything with them?

YES please do send your child with a packed lunch and a water bottle. Depending on the recipes being made, children may be able to eat some for lunch or a snack if the timings work out but this cannot be guaranteed. We operate a no-nut policy to protect children with allergies.

My child has dietary requirements or allergies can they still attend?

Please be advised that our teachers do have to prepare some ingredients in advance and we cannot guarantee that other products containing allergens have not been handled in the kitchens we are using.  Having said that we will do our best to cater for most dietary requirements and allergies. Please provide detailed information during the registration process and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss how best we can accommodate your child.
