• Healthy and fun

We ensure our recipes are nutritional and well balanced to encourage healthy eating into adult life, but most importantly we make our lessons fun.

  • Responsibility and care

We take our responsibility for the children in our care very seriously and so we ensure our teachers undergo extensive training including basic first aid. All our teachers are DBS checked, insured and certified with the local Environmental Health Officer.

  • Skills and confidence

We hope to provide our students with essential life skills that will stick with them into adulthood, but will also boost their confidence now; the satisfaction to be gained from cooking from scratch should not be underestimated.

Since 2011 our cookery school has been committed to teaching children of all ages about the importance of being able to cook for themselves and others. Instilling in our students an understanding of nutrition and basic kitchen skills, but most importantly fostering an ongoing curiosity about the food they eat.
