Worried About Your Teenager Surviving on Instant Noodles and Takeaways?
The transition to independent living can be overwhelming for students. Convenience foods and takeaways might seem like the easiest solution, but they’re neither nutritious nor sustainable in the long run.
Now is the perfect time to equip your teenager with essential cooking skills! While learning from parents works for some, many teens resist instructions from mum and dad. Alternatives like expensive in-person courses or chaotic self-teaching through YouTube and books often lead to frustration. The result? Many leave home or head off to university unprepared to cook for themselves.
Here’s what one of our students had to say:
“Learning to cook with Smart Raspberry was one of the best decisions I made to prepare myself for living independently. I went from barely being able to make toast to cooking full meals for myself and my family. The skills I learned not only help me in the kitchen but have also made me more confident in other areas of my life. Thankyou so much for this amazing opportunity!” Nicholas Stothard
